The site www.butoiulcuinghetata.ro (“Site”) is the property of MAIA ICE CREAM SRL, headquartered in Bucharest, Str. Pietei, No. 33-35, Sector 1, unique registration code RO28295602 and Trade Register number J40/4075/2011 (“Company”).
Accessing the Site implies acceptance of the terms and conditions below.
The Company’s copyright over the information published on the Site, as well as the entire content of the Site represented by images, texts, graphics, symbols, web graphic elements, emails, scripts, programs, and other data – are the property of the Company and are protected by Law no. 8/1996 regarding copyright and related rights and by laws regarding intellectual and industrial property.
The security of the personal data of the Site users (“Clients” or individually “the Client”) consists in guaranteeing the data provided for processing an order on the Site. The data provided will be used to deliver the products ordered through the Site, to communicate news offered by the Company through its online store and work points, and for internal statistics.
Clients are required, when placing an order through the Site, to accept the terms of delivery, price, quantity, etc.
The payment for products is made in advance by bank transfer or in cash at the time of their pickup from the Company’s work points or at delivery. Payment is made in accordance with the fiscal receipt or the invoice issued based on the ordered products.
In case of order cancellation, the Client is obliged to notify this as soon as possible.

PAYMENT METHODS
In our online store you have the option to pay cash on delivery or by bank transfer according to the invoice issued based on the order. Our payment methods are:
- Cash on Delivery
Payment is made in the cash-on-delivery system (cash upon delivery). This payment method implies the payment of the order at the time of delivery of the parcel.
- Bank Transfer
- If you have chosen the payment method by bank transfer, you need to provide us with all the necessary data for issuing the proforma invoice.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
Delivery. Delivery is made daily. If the order was placed by 12:00, delivery will be made the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 will be delivered the next calendar day.
Unilateral cancellation. Clients have the right to notify us in writing, by email at office@butoiulcuinghetata.ro or at one of the phone numbers +40 749 406 361 or +40 751 569 262 that they wish to withdraw from the purchase, without penalties and without citing any reason, within 14 calendar days from receiving the product, but only for products that are not likely to deteriorate or expire quickly (for which returning is no longer possible once the clients have taken possession). The return of products will be made without undue delay and within a maximum of 14 days from the date clients communicated the decision to return. In this case, clients will bear the direct costs related to returning the products as well as any costs related to the decrease in value of the products resulting from their handling. Products damaged during transport or with physical alterations are not accepted. Therefore, clients are asked to keep the packaging in which they received the product and to return it in the same packaging. The cost of returning the products will be borne by the clients.
We will refund the value of the returned products by bank transfer, within a maximum of 14 days from when we were informed of the decision to return the products. If, within this period, the return of the products has not occurred, we will postpone the refund until the receipt of the products that were the subject of the sale or until the receipt of proof from the clients that the products have been sent to us, whichever date is earliest.
In case of non-conformity, the client has the right to request, free of charge, the replacement of the product within a time period to be mutually agreed, taking into account the purpose for which it was requested. The established period will not exceed 15 calendar days from the date we were notified of the non-conformity or the product was handed over. If product replacement cannot occur within the established period, then the order will be canceled, and the amount paid will be refunded.
Products delivered by mistake. If clients have received a different product than ordered, we kindly ask you to notify us as soon as possible to return the product and have it replaced with the correct one. All related return and delivery costs will be borne by us.
Return procedure. If the client wishes to return a product within the 14-day term mentioned above, please follow these steps:
- Send your intention to return to the email address office@butoiulcuinghetata.ro.
- Send the undamaged product, with all accessories and a copy of the invoice. All these must be packed together.
- Ship the product, by any transport method desired by the client (e.g., courier, Romanian Post, etc.) to the address Strada Ion Neculce no. 65, Sector 1, Bucharest, specifying “Product Return” on the package. The client is responsible for packing the product and the necessary shipping documents.
Return expenses are borne by the client according to the law. If the client sends the parcel with payment on delivery, we will deduct the shipping cost from the amount owed.
According to GEO 34/2014, the value of your order will be refunded within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receiving the return notification. If, within this period, the return of the products has not occurred, we will postpone the refund until the date the returned products are received or until receiving proof from the client that the products have been sent to us, whichever date is earliest. The money will be refunded using the same payment method as the original order, unless the client wishes to change the payment method.
